Along with the Meditation of The Month, we use a monthly theme or teaching that helps you bring the gifts you receive from your meditations into your daily life. Study this teaching and theme through meditation, journaling, and discussion inside our monthly workshop.

This section inside of Daily Roots is like a library, and I want you to think of it as such...
...when you go to a library, you either have a specific purpose in mind, or you wish to browse in the hopes that something special jumps out at you. You don't enter the library feeling overwhelmed at a need to read every single book, instead you know the vast array of information is there FOR you to find what you need.
We are always adding courses, trainings, workshops, and classes with specific themes and purposes. As a Daily Roots member, you have access to this library of resources to turn to when you have a specific problem you're seeking support on - or if you wish to browse, hoping for something special and timely to jump out at you.
This do-on-your-own training is one of many self-paced courses available to you inside of Daily Roots. This one is a simple training meant to help you build, rebuild, or maintain the habit of meditation while offering daily quotes and simple contemplations designed to deepen your experience.
This training is a great way to connect to your meditation practice in a new way, explore, and enjoy it through different perspectives. It involves listening to once very short audio each day while you're getting yourself ready to meditate. It's great for all levels.
YES! A meditative state is as natural for the brain as being awake, asleep, or dreaming is.
The only difference is that we need a little guidance getting there. Why?
We live in a culture that does not value silence. In cultures that do, a meditative state might be naturally stumbled upon.

...I remember what it's like to believe that taking care of your own wellness is selfish - as if somehow this were to take away from the wellbeing of others around you.
What I understand now is this: the greatest gift you can give to the people, especially the children in your life, is the gift of your own wellbeing.
I’ll put it to you this way...Denying yourself the opportunity to feel well is like being hungry, with a sandwich sitting in front of you, and you decide to throw it away because there are starving people in the world.
Yet, if you wanted to help those starving people, wouldn’t it benefit them for you to eat that sandwich? So you can be strong and healthy, allowing you the energy and resources to help them?
What if you carve out time each day to fill yourself up and to feel well and rejuvenated? What if by doing so, some of that wellness spills out of you and onto those around you?
What if by feeling whole, energized, and well, you have the stores and desire to better support the people in your life?
You see now, what I see.
Taking your own wellness into your own hands is the greatest, most unselfish gift to give yourself and all of those in your life.
It is time to invest in yourself. You deserve to feel well.
This is some of the best parts about our community: to learn how to get the most out of a guided meditation AND silent ones.
You’ll always have guided meditations (live or prerecorded) available to you AND you'll be taught how to practice every technique on your own in a successful way so that no matter where you are (if you have no internet or phone and can’t listen to a guided meditation and are really worked up) you can help yourself feel better by meditating.
While we have so many ways to be guided available to you, we strongly encourage you to practice on your own throughout your day too (even in the middle of long meetings or while washing dishes).
This membership has many ways to interact. You are welcome to do as much or as little as you'd like!
Make this membership your own personal resource, your own personal support system, accountability buddy, and community.
There are three weekly live meditation classes, 1 live meditation workshop, and 1 live Satsang available each month. Each class is uploaded to the membership so if you're busy during that time, you can still participate after (excluding the Satsang).
There is an ever growing library of guided meditations in both audio and video format.
There are worksheets and journaling exercises available to deepen your practice.
There is a private Facebook community to help you connect with your fellow members in a different way.
There are silent meditation rooms available so you can hop on and mediate with others without guidance.
I recommend that you try out a few different things and find your own rhythm to help utilize this amazing resource in the best way for your own personal life.
